This shop would have been just over Rose Bridge opposite the flats, Rose Court.

No shortage of famous brands advertised. I remember 'Rinso' soap powder -my mother used it as well as Sunlight Soap.

When such shops were the essence of the community. Most of the companies advertised on the windows, are now foreign owned. The convenience of out of town shopping, with free car parking, has been a major factor in the demise of such shops.
I used to love walking in shops like these, the different aromas always amazed me.
