Heres the second picture after the umpteemth attempt of uploading it.I was taken just after the first one in 1986 looking at the foundry from Foundry street off First Avenue.

I am a relative incomer to Hindley - 1988! - so where was the foundry these pictures show? When was the hexagonal chimney taken down? That shape was rare, so it should have been listed.

live at 22 first avenue and the next street is foundry street brooklands private nursery is where the foundry used to be on foundry street and also where st peters primary school on Atherton road is where the main Brook lands nursery is situated

Look Guys. The van is a Bedford HA van and the car is a Datsun Laurel. Now stop arguing and focus upon the Foundry. Any more info on that?
