Wigan Clippie. Does anyone know the age and history of this bus/photo?
It is Mrs Hilda Bache's photo of her cousin Jessie Baxter (nee Winstanley). She came from Worsley Mesnes and moved to Railway Street, Britannia Bridge after marrying.
Thanks to David Ashcroft who supplied the following:
Bus No. 94 registration JP2195 is a 1937 Leyland Titan Type TD4 built by either Masseys or Northern Counties in Wigan. Leyland charged £837 for the chassis and bodywork cost a further £685. The information is from "The Leyland Buses of Wigan Corporation" by the Leyland Society.

Can anyone help with information on Ellen Taylor and Jessie Finch. Sisters and Wigan Clippies circa 1950's onwards. Ellen left for New Zealand in 1956.
