Pit Brow Lasses, I think the mine was the Wigan Junction Colliery in Bickershaw Lane, c1950. My wife's sister (middle row R/H side) was one of the girls.

Derek, thankyou so much for posting this, the young lady on the back row middle is my mum (Monica Lydon). I think the lady front right is called Edie Bates. I have another photo with your wife's sister, Edie and a man on it - I'll try to post it. This has made my day! Thankyou.
