Tony Taylor eh - me owd boss. He were awreet Tony - he always used to whistle to let you know he was on his way- so you could get up off your bum and do some work.
Tony is my Dad. He had a heart attack in February 1985 having just finished a night shift. He died in March 2004, age 67, after undergoing a second heart operation.You were spot on with the whistling!Never stopped! I used to go to Reed's Children's Christmas parties/pantos. Dad used to volunteer to 'man' a coach. We all wore coloured ,circular labels with our name and coach number on. Many thanks for the comment and good memory.
