Steam engine "SPRINGFIELD" at the Alexandra Colliery 1946

Built in 1869 by the Wigan Coal & Iron Company using parts from an earlier engine with the same name. It was taken over by the NCB at Alexandria Colliery in 1947 and scrapped there in February 1954.
