I am not sure of the date but guessing late 70's or 80's, as the shaft headstock has "lost" some of its top most structure.

The Vauxhall Cavalier in the centre of the photo is a Mark II. This model was launched in August 1981 - that should help to identify the date.

My dad always said that parsonage colliery was the deepest down and the furthest out.....he added..." It's no wonder Germans are feightin' us.......we're pinching their coal..
Was that not Parkside in Newton le Willows, not Parkside
