I think these outings took place annually in the 1940/50's but I don't think wives usually went along until the 50's.

The only name I can put to a face as well as Charley and Bert
is Norman Ashcroft
Back row 2nd from left Charley Middleton , 3rd from left is his wife I think , 9th from left almost hidden is Jimmy Hilton .
Front row 2nd left is Miriam Hilton 9 Jimmy's wife ) , 3rd from left is Marian Braithwaite , 4th from left Bert Braithwaite both sadly missed .

Jack Roden was my dads uncle. He had an amazing signing voice!
