mary Edwards, who sadly died of breast cancer lived close to the bakery. We used to shop at their shop further up Warrington Road. I was at St. Nats for a while with Billy. Their produce was wonderful.

Aunty Mary was a colourful, kind person I worked with Aunty Mary at the shop in Warrington Road and became very very close to her in the last few years of her life.A brave lady

Gladys we have been interested in seeing all your bakery photos. My husband's father was a baker...in Kent & we have a very similar pic to this one. The vans, electric trolly even bicycles that did the deliveries & domestic rounds, all lined up & looking smart.
People think your mad when you say you remember the boy coming to the back door with his basket asking if you wanted any bread that day. I remember the 'pop' lorry coming every week as well. Great pics, thank you.
