i remember that day at coops we had a party in canteen.i was the one they sent to lennons for the booze big tin of party four we had a good day.i won a premium bond for 50 pound.when my name was drawn out by mr valentine i had to go and collect my prize in a alcohol haze.great times we had at coops

Yes Nadine, you can see the resemblance. He had a great sense of humour too. He once said whilst serving in the forces abroad, due to low rations, he was forced to make a cake out of Epsom Salts to feed the troups!

Its great to see these lads again, Ronnie Heyes and Jimmy Fish are the chaps I remember most.. I left in 1973 just after I got Married Happy Days Eh!!

John, Wasn't Lawrence the chap that wandered around the place doing "not so much". rumour had it the his uncle owned the place and gave him a job to keep him out of harms way.
