Photoshopped?
Nice photo Jimbo. All the best in your retirement.
I see that Olga is back in business.
Some of these photos of Jim put me in mind of the late Frank Sidebottom
Have a good one Jim. Get the old rod out and reel em in. Rock on Jim.
lolol
is that one of those floating clocks?????? lol
I can see this photo being a Jim Holding, with 60 comments.
Come-on it's superimposed?
Well Johny there are nearly 350 viewing alresdy so Jim must be doing something right. Is he the most famous gent on the site - or is that the actor Peter Bernard Dowdall?
Congratulations Jim lad. Nowt but liesure now eh lad? Look after thi sel!
Yes, Congratulations Jim! And does it REALLY matter if the photo is superimposed or not, as with the other photo in question? As William Shakespeare would have said, "Much Ado About Nothing"!
Well said Irene you are a girl after my own heart. I think Jim looks very smart and I know he is a great guy and I wish him well in his retirement.
Hi Irene
The thing is these postings and photos are being done by the same person, using many aliases. He is placing Jim in lots of places where he has never been...he has used my name to post under some threads
Thats a good picture Jas. You look very smart. Conratulations on your retirement. Use your time well. Always plenty to do helping folk less fortunate than yourself.
Yes IT DOES MATTER Irene. in case you don't understand what superimposed means in photography I'll explain.
you are not looking at Jim in these photos, but someone else with their head replaced by Jims ie superimposed.
therefore this is not a photo of Jim with an award, in fact the clock has also been added
Thankyou V.Kearns for your support, but I apologise if what is being done is serious. I don't really understand, if I'm honest, but please try to see that from my point of view, and that of V. Kearns, it looked like childish remarks. I just hate to see photos and the people who post them pulled to bits, and I hate all the backbiting that goes on. But if I am wrong over this through not fully understanding, I apologise. For every person who objects to these photos for good reason , there is always someone ready to jump on the bandwagon just for the sake of it.
I agree with Irene. I can only see good comments about Jim. If its a "superimposed" picture. Who really cares? Now Tricia is accusing people, as I see it, without any proof of anything. Gives us a break, its hypocrisy. Tricia doesn't even give a full name.
You see people all the time in magazines and other media superimposed on all sorts of backgrounds, that's one of the jobs commercial artist do. Just take a look at your TV magazine. Irene is right if you get your knickers in twist overs this then really you should look at yourself not the picture.
I wasn't aware that the name "tricia" was patented.
For your info trish ,, Jim has been in that place a lot! Get your facts straight.
If further comments on this, away for weekend, speak soon. Irene.
Irene. Jim is a very popular lad. He was known as Jas at the Grammar School where I first met him. If you want to know more about Jas you can see him on several photographs and read his many comments. He is a very amusing guy with a great sense of humour. Just read the first three pages of the Wigan Grammar School section. I taught James in first aid. He was an excellent pupil.
This photo has been doctored
Now that last comment wasn't mine - but hey - I won't lose any sleep. Wonder who it was though - I bet I know. Irene and V. Kearns it nice to talk to you but we just need to ignore the hypocrites. They'll go away!
There is a picture of a “spec-tre” on a photograph taken in a tunnel in Bordsdane Wood. Would all train spotters, nerds, geeks and conspiracy theorists please give their considered opinions. You can find it at “Wiganers at Work” address: http://www.wiganworld.co.uk/work/index.php.
Nice clock that Jim. Cost us a packet. Too late for work now but it may get you up earlier enough for your fishing trips.
Wishing you well Jim lad. We know you'll have good one. By the way - hang on to that clock - it will be worth a fortune in a couple of months the way the price of gold is going up.
Good luck on your retirement Jemmy lad. Tone.
