We had to be in the 3rd form before we could leave off wearing a cap. I seem to remember that that was the time that we went into long trousers too.
I'm trying to locate form photographs. I was in 1C in 1955; 2D, 3D, 4D. 5D thereafter. I seem to recall a Mr Sutcliffe( maths) being one of my form teachers, Can anyone help?

Yes Mr Sutcliffe was a Maths teacher He taught me in the 3rd and 4th year. Have you checked out the THOMAS LINACRE SCHOOL link on the web site? I started in 1957.
