A view looking down E3 brow.By this time E3 was no longer used as a supply route and only served as a second means of egress.In it's day vitually everything supplying the Winwick area went down here and men would travel to all the Lower Florida faces in No3 South via this route.

when I started back at Parkside in 1975, I was put with Bob Woodcock and Dick Stead re-ripping E3 Brow prior to the haulage road being put in. At the time that I was re-ripping, the monorail was the only means of transport, and Billy Keating was in charge of it.
yes went to parkside when windy arbour closed we were on heavy supplies myself brother jimmy hill and jimmy lowe on the night shift.
