I went out with a girl, way back in the 1960's, named Vivienne Roughley, who lived in that house. . I remember the walls were about 2 feet thick.

My mum always calls the new steps one legged steps because you go up them one at a time. Thanks for the photo, I don't remember them looking like this.

Hi James, I remember you too. Oh I moved to the other side of Wigan, but mum and dad still live in UpHolland but near the bus stop on hall green now.

Fell in love with Vivienne during the summer holidays . Was walking passed her house and she was in the garden on a lovely summers day. She was wearing a vivid blue swimsuit and had lovely black hair. I was 7 and she was 8 years old. She was oblivious to me. By the time we returned to school I had found someone else lol
