Thank you ttd for that extra information. All I can remember is that it seemed like a very large field with a significant slope and I had little to do throughout the match, just as well really since I wasn't the quickest of full backs.

...Dave Gaskell who went on to play for Manchester United and was in fact the youngest player ever to represent the club at 16 years and some days. he left Man U in 1969 I believe... To join a local (Northern) Premier League club!
