the last shift at parkside before it closed.it was an unofficial photo took with my camera.we also had brandY and coke in our flasks that day.thats me in front.another roy to my right. steve at the centre back row.the guy in the white t shirt,was colin dalimores brother(colin was killed in the golborne explosion whom i went to school with)the ripping machine was an RH 25,from another photo i took. it's written on the junction support beam. S36. i assume that was the heading we where driving. they don't know they'r born today !!!! ha

hi steve. i am in south africa.eventually sold up in 98, and came out here.i went daw mill after parkside.then silverdale pit.and did 12 months on a tunnel in sri-lanka.send me your e-mail. how you doing ?

hiya glyn. yea i'm fine,hope your same, i saw foto of our den.thought someone mite have had a foto of our year.but anyway!!! dont know what happened to all our old fotos.probably got lost wen we moved here.nice see old faces tho. took about 16 that last shift down parkside. i will put some more up soon.some of the things we used to get up to as comntracters!!! you have to laugh. and at that private mine castle. one day we had been up to a mine in cumberland get some spares.and i finished up with 2 drums of :- i think it was called point 1 cable.that big heavy duty stuff.can u imagine that being trundled down our street off a wagon and into my garage, i have to laugh haha.take care

Roy, Got some photos of us when we went to Butlins about 1966,me,you,your Dennis.Eric Wilson,Eric Andrews and Joe Bushel also a picture of me and you[ Im on a spar order bike and you on a ordinary bike]on the main road in front of Britania bridge school.if i can figure out how to get them on the computer ill put them on.

that would be great if you could glyn.scan them in.or take a digi foto and input them.if they are in colour?i bet my bikes either blue? or if its yellow it's our dens.thanks again glyn your a star. p.s. wonder if there's any fotos out there of when we joined up with platt bridge school? i.e. blog....dali....or iley.

i worked at golborne when we had the blast . can see some of the lads who worked there . ste beck ( at the back center ) & trevor dallimore to the right side .

The bloke to your right is Roy Cooke. I think he was a fitter...I remember him from Agecroft when I was a trainee there..... He is from Hindley.

hi that is roy cooke on the right and he did work at age croft :) . how many years ago whould this of been taken ?
