Just spoken to the artist, he said his sister has claimed a couple of the paintings but he is intending to have prints made of them. So Watch This Space. When he has the prints he is going to contact me and in turn I'll post something on the site.

tony, the pub on the right is the Balmoral, the ladies on the left with the umberella are walking past the Monoco. and the pub straight facing is the Bird ith hand at the traffic lights.can you see it now.

The Bird is the brown building with the black-and-white stripey bits just under the roof. You are standing on Atherton Road with the Balmoral on your right and the Monaco to the left a little way in front. If you turn left just past the church you will be on Liverpool Road heading to Platt Bridge.

Morning Brenda, waiting for man to do annual gas fire service. Aren't these paintings good? You could almost step into them, and can almost "feel" the cool air. What a clever man!

I think you're right, Our Joseph.

I still like the paintings though, our Irene. I wonder if they are done from memory or photos?
