Two ex-Wigan players 1914

Both these players appear in the recently posted photo "Wigan v Hull October 3rd 1914"
On the left W (Billy) Seddon, a full back who made 70 first team appearances, scoring 1 try and kicking 34 goals in his career which was from 1910 to 1921 - the single try I think shows just how different the game was in those days. His photo was taken when he joined the "pals" battalion of the King's Liverpool Regiment, in 1917. He was one of 21 Wigan players who enlisted.
The second player is a Welshman, a centre, who signed in April 1914. David Llan Evans made 48 first team appearances scoring 10 tries, in his career from 1914 to 1920 when he was transferred to Batley. He played for Glamorgan County and hailed from Ammanford.
