Wigan Album

This picture is of my dad Joseph Jackson probably taken on the family pen where my dad and grand dad kept pigeons,chickens ducks and grew our own veg.My dad served with the 1st Manchesters and was captured in Singapore and became a prisoner of war for 3.5 years.He came home,married my mam and had jobs in textile mills and in Hindley Billiard Hall.He died in March 1963.
