Still useing steam in the 80s?

spitfire and hurricane they were called.
I think the steam trains at that time were Rodney and Hurricane.
What happened to um?
there is one engine at the preston vintage railway awiating restoration dont no which one
i think one of the trains is rotting away in j doyles scrap steel yard westhoughton at Chequerbent island
the train is in a bad way shame really it should never have got in this state
The front engine is No.7 (aka Bickershaw & No.8) the one behind it is Warrior.

My Grandfather use to be the train driver of the Hunslet Works No 3823
Warrior 0-6-0ST shunting wagons down at Astley Green colliery. Never actually got to know my Grandfather as he died when I was a baby
Warrior is now in a siding at The Dean Forest Railway, "awaiting restoration". It sort of followed me here.
