These were better times. Look how people looked after their houses; hedges trim well!
Lambrette Li 150, Wigan plates and the learner plate is upside-down, great picture all the same.
Not upside down Stuart..more back to front or if you want to be picky reversed, inside out, take your pick...
Sideways? If knocked down by Ray I suppose it'll look the right way up.
Any of the above 3, for a quiet life.
I wonder why Ray to the rescue did that with the L plate?...;)
He fell off, the L plate fell off, and he put it back on while lying on the floor! E.T.
never knew his name was ray we always called him nipper
This is my Uncle and he still looks as dapper.
Hi Fiona, nice to hear that Ray is alive and well, please give him my best wishes (Keith, son of the landlord, Jack). PS I took the photo.
Hi Fiona, I don't know if you'll pick up on this message but I submitted my photo of Ray to the "Classic and Vintage Vehicles" website and they published it. If you go to http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/lambretta.htm you'll see the photo and a descriptive piece about the Lambretta's history. I'm sure Ray's history would have been more interesting but that's for another time perhaps.
