The Wellfield Hotel, Beech Hill 1959. A photo I took, aged 13, when I first became interested in photography, developing the film and making prints. The car, I think, might be an Armstrong Siddeley. I remember it spending a lot of its time, parked at the back of the pub, off the road. The Police phone box on the right is blocking the view to the Buffet side of the pub. The off licence is situated in the middle and was often very busy in the early days, from February 1956 when the Wellfield Hotel, was opened.
