History of Wigan   (Help with ancient and recent history.)

Found this good site for all of you who are interested the history of Wigan it contains a vast amount of data some you may have to register to obtain but those doing family trees it could be very helpful
it even does local parishes like aspull, hindley etc. Also a section on the meaning of your surname
