History of Wigan   (Help with ancient and recent history.)

I were a proud Athertonian(or Benter),then we got put under Wigan Council. Nothing at all wrong with Wigan,but things got done quicker when Leyth,Bent and Bongs had their own Councils,and Wigan could concentrate on Wigan,and not have to stretch their finances to cover extra areas!
