History of Wigan   (Help with ancient and recent history.)

Well, 110 years on, really.

Just been looking at Stuff - Wigan Views, 1908, some fascinating photos.
Wonder what those places look like today, do they still exist?
Anyone fancy an history project? Photograph those same places, locations if original building is no longer there, in 2018.

Or, if that is too soon, how about the photos in Stuff - Old Borough Guide from 1910? Maybe not quite as interesting though.
