Yes you're right, there was a Crow Orchard pit on the East side, but I can't find any info about opening and closure dates.
The Crow Orchard pit off Westwood Lane was owned by H and E Hilton and under their ownership it was known as Ince Hall coll. This pit closed in 1842 when the Hilton Brothers were declared bankrupt.

Thomas Pearson later reopened the pit and re named it Crow Orchard.
