Marie, it appears that the new Metrolink station at the Trafford Centre runs from an area called Pomona which is close to the Imperial War museum to the Trafford Centre, so not really good for access from the Wigan area, but it is only part of a longer term expansion of the Metrolink system, so ultimately they may connect to something on ‘our side’ of Manchester.
