Ray,isn't it a lovely feeling to discover long lost relatives,especially the
letter that your Mum wrote,and I should imagine very moving..I think I've
spent the last forty years searching for info on my ancestors ..Weatherwax
on WR did an awful lot of searching for me,especially when I mentioned
that my great grandmother came from Southport,she even sent me some
photos,also I have a good friend Elizabeth used to work in "The history
shop "in Wigan and found where my Irish Grandma came from..and lots
more,it's all very exciting stuff isn't it,I used to go on the reel to reel in the
Library years ago which took forever,but of course with the net..it's a lot
easier...bet you're chuffed as anything.
