A very good day to all.
A cloudy cold day here in Blighty, 5C.
It tried to snow earlier, but thankfully was brief lived.
Hope we can get an afternoon walk in.

Mo, hope you've got your dryer working.
Marie, home winemaking is very easy.
Add water to grape concentrate in a plastic bucket, add yeast, leave for 2 weeks and that's it.
Hindley History Society is mainly local history, but also general history. On Monday we had a really interesting talk with a brilliant slideshow about the role that women played in WW1.
We wouldn't have won the war without the part they played.
They replaced farm workers on the land, they worked in munitions, they provided medical care, they repaired and maintained steam locos on the rail network, they built military vehicles and tanks on assembly lines.
All in all they were vital to the war.
A similar talk is planned in the future about women's role in WW2.

Well done to Marie.
Loads more for Mo and Vince.
I can't get the 9 letter, Vince is usually on the ball with them.

Lizzie, it's the usual bargain Wednesday for you LOL, I don't blame you getting what you can, your money is hard earned.
We usually buy stuff in the supermarkets when it's on special offer, even if we don't need it at the time, unless of course it's perishable.
I've prattled on a bit today LOL
Thanks as ever
