Thanks for that priscus, I wonder when that painting was done as Wallgate appears to be setts as well. I can't say that I am looking forward to trying to produce the correct appearance because of the curved sidings I have had to put down. Commercially produce sheets of setts are ok but will not follow the curve of the lines which will make it look very odd I would think.
However I have just taken delivery of a pair of 'rollers' that have the pattern on their surface so when a rollout some modelling clay theoretically it rolls the pattern into the surface! Famous last words I will post photos of the results of me trialling the method shortly.
