Hi all, Seasons Greetings to everyone ( belatedly, but I'm a long way away )
Well between Xmas and New Year, moving my son and his family back home from Perth W.A. 45 deg days then twice the average rainfall for January in a couple of days it's been a busy start to 2016.
In between all that I have been pressing on with a few buildings. So a few pictures
First up having determined that the shop I was asking about was Middleton & Woods I had to guess wildly at how it would have appeared so along with Hellers I hope it's somewhere close.

In my usual manner I get to a point with each building then want to move on to the next before finishing anything!! Anyway, I have been on the other side of Wallgate in the last week or so getting some ides what the back of King St will look like.

As you can see , lots of roofless buildings, the King St ones are merely single layer prints on foamboard carcasses to assess appearance and layout.
Several of them are built from actual photos of the building having spent considerable time on the computer cut, pasting, squaring up etc.
One or two involved a fair bit of guesswork as the only pics avail were b&w,long distance or aerial shots. Anyway given that I have had to bend King St rather more than somewhat I don't think this area looks too bad.

Deb and I are having a fairly major clean up in the room at the moment as it was well past looking like a bomb had gone off in here. Besides it looks like being in the mid 30's all week so gardening is off the agenda we may as well be in here.

Cheers for now
Kevan
