The sandhill cranes flew into their summer home a week ago on a small lake at side of our house, we always have one breeding pair that come back each spring.

It's a sure sign that the peepers are about to wake up as it one of the food likes of the sandhills .

We can expect one fluffy feather ball appear in the next few week, they raise at least one young through the summer.
