Just opened my letter from Works &pensions telling me because I was born after 6th Dec 1953 I can now look forewards to working longerGood news is I can now draw my state pension 3 months before my 66th birthday. Also I only need to pay/credited National insurance contributions for 30YEARS to qualify for a FULL basic pension. Can I ask for a refund has I have been working since 1969 so for the last 13 years I did not need to contribute and the way the ba****ds have it I will have to pay another 8yrs before I get anything backMy wife has worked on/off for the last 41years raised two kids, but I bet she gets a letter to say she has not made enough contributions to draw a full pension in her own rightALL wrong if I am paying over the odds it should automaticaly transfer to my wifes contributions
