Which comedy series featured a scene in the vet's where somebody had a large basket with an unseen animal in it?

Bit of slapstick acting, kept pretending the animal had grabbed the owner's hand. There may even have been an accomplice inside the hamper.

The Goodies did something similar, but I think there was a more protracted scene done by someone else. Possibly Tommy Cooper.
