Apologies for compounding your humiliation.

Reminds me of those daft sods who complain to newspapers, only to have their name dragged through the mud again the next week.

"In last week's article we stated that Mr X of Chippiing Sodbury was sentenced to nine months inprisonment.

We apologise for any distress and are happy to point out that it was only eight-and-a-half months. The dirty boy!"
