It's a great gesture by the girl.

It could possibly be argued she'll get more sponsor monies before school breaks up and friends disperse.

And, as school age children can suffer hair loss due to medical treatments and alopecia etc, do the school rules need to be reviewed?

(I've seen instances on TV where family/friends have shaved their hair off too in support of someone who's has undergone hair loss.)
