Yes. You can drive a Sprinter van on an ordinary licence.
It's gross weight might be 3500kg, but that's it's kerb weight plus load.
If it's converted into a camper van, it's never going to exceed 3500kg. Go off it's kerb weight! (it might be about 2000kg?)
