To be honest if you are a gardener or groundsman you love the rain and the limited sun at this time of the year, and for farrie and mswigan it's known as the growing season!

It's a stone cold certainty it won't look like that on christmas day and it doesn't matter who the hells playing on it,Warriors ,Latics, Dick Kerrs ladies,or the Brighouse and Rastrick band marching,in winter grounds are crap!
