My argument is their claim to be European champions 5 times is slanted. Their first 4 European cups were won when only 1 English team entered the competition



You mean when it was the PROPER European cup? When only the CHAMPIONS of each country played for it on a knockout basis? But hey! Isn't it great to play under the present format? You don't even need to be your countries champion to qualify, you can lose two or three games and still have a shot at being " champion of europe " LOL. The tournament has been totally devalued for the sake of MONEY. Sums football up completely. God alone knows why some numpties keep forking out all their hard earned to support it.
