Sir Alex's actual quote was;
“I’m not sure Manchester United are involved in this, as I am not part of the decision making process.”

Which was attributed to him nearly 24 hours ago so not long after the initial news broke and it looks like it was news to him as well, he'd have no reason to lie about it if he did know.
So rather than showing disrespect and letting your bitterness get in the way by putting the greatest manager of all time in the spotlight just because he knocked your lot off your "F...ing perch" why don't you have a closer look at your own Yankee owners who have also signed up to it!
