Not taking it away from Liverpool Verlaine, they have had a great season and been head and shoulders above the rest until just before the break.

Not proper record breaking (as underlined by your recent post), and not as good as it could have been, or as it was predicted to have been, but half decent never the less by their own recent standards.

It won't be remembered as a record breaking season or go down in history because of the asterisk, but a decent achievement for their first title in an incredible THIRTY years.
