Yes but trophies aren't given out for hindsight they are given out for facts and results, and the fact is that in March the results did not say that they had won the league at that point. It isn't pedantry, it's factual.

Liverpool won it fair and square and congratulations to a great team, I work with a Liverpool fan and I was very pleased for him, but a false claim must be corrected. Plus, I haven't yet met a united fan who denies that Liverpool deserved the title, they might not like it but facts are facts and the fact is that Liverpool nosedived in form before the break and crawled over the line after it.

If Liverpool did set the tenuous "record" you state, it is straw grasping at the very least and sparse reward for the amount of records they were predicted to set. Possibly a record for chicken counting would have been more apt.

Finally, you referred to City as "Citeh", I'm disappointed in your "Man Ure type attitude".
