That post of truckerdaves, about noisy pipes, brought a memory back to me.Quite a long time ago, I was riding my BSA 350 single pot along Woodhouse Lane.It was dark, but in the headlight, I saw my Bro' & his wife, near the Woodhouses pub, so I stopped to chat.The bike was ticking over, chugging away. After a few minutes I heard a voice coming from the terrace of houses.." Hey, do you mind getting that bl**dy bike up the road, I've got kids in bed here"! We turned, saw who it was & both of us said " Hello Jack"...Jack returned with "Hellfire, I didn't know it was you two"....Jack, you see, being truckerdaves dad.
All three of us used to go to the same school, Jack & my bro' were in the same class.I was in the same class as his sister..

So, after all this time, I'd just like to say sorry, to truckerdave, for keeping him awake..
