If you have got a branch where you can speak to a human being, you are very lucky.

Thanks to a Chairman of our bank making some bad financial decisions which lost the bank a lot of money, they closed the majority of their branches a made hundreds of their loyal staff redundant to recover the losses.

Now, if I want to conduct any business at a branch, I have got to go to Bolton, Liverpool or Manchester.

Why have we not changed banks, simply because despite what happened to branches, it is the best bank we have been in.
