As I peruse the incredibly many wings of my ancestors, I am advised that my grandmother may have been an 8th cousin to George Orwell and 11th cousin to the Queen Mother. I decided to write to her Majesty and asked if she could confirm, but her reply was this - "Dear Mr JR, thank you for your letter. I don't know if this offers any comfort.
