lo - busy bee - some name sspring to mind, dave leather, freddy leyland (his dad used to have the haredware shop on gidlow lane that is now a dentist's - hardware shop was always known as 'little man's shop', for obvious reasons) a dennis hindley, lived on a farm at red rock, his dad would let us tear around in his land rover, just avoided canal a few times,a d,foster, norman owen, rob' green,and frank brindle, i remember a lad, a pretty big lad, kevin foy a quiet lad not to be messed with, and alan brightcliffe, always seemed destined to be involved with motor cars, and of course the well known john oaks, one of wrlfc biggest fans,of micron fame.
