People   (Re-unions, trace old friends and relatives.)

I remember sister Magdaline, she looked after the very young girls of about 5 to 8 years of age,she was clearly the oldest nun in greenfield, one of her jobs was dishing up the meals.I used to think she was evil. Well sometines, not to often, all the lads would go down to the girls recreation room, maybe it would be some holy day, any way it was the only time we could touch a girl with the nuns looking on. we would dance mainly to Slim Witmans record i only know it started with i'll be calling you, and it was dead slow, we would be about arms lenth, there was no way of standing on each toe's mores the pity, any way with the nuns and the statue's looking on we had to be on our best behaviour. I did look forward to these's holy days as we could stay up till 8.30.pm sometimes sister Mary Claire would ask, would anyone like to dance with her,i would be up there like a shot, be fair there's a bit of a groveler in all of us.Did she liked dancing,she would spin me,throw me,well she was taking the man's part. Two things sister Mary Claire liked,dancing and singing irish rebel songs,bless her.
