BSCamp (25) Nick, I wonder if you could help me? I am having problems obtaining records appertaining to myself, regarding my stay at Greenfields Orphanage, Billinge, where I was placed in April 1943 (aged 19 months) and then transferred to St Gabriel’s Convent, Knolle Park, Liverpool in 1948. I have been in touch with the Order of Sisters who ran Greenfields, who inform me all records were sent to the Archdiocese of Liverpool. Nugent Care, who look after such matters for the Archdiocese, had already written to me, stating that the Sisters who ran Greenfields had all the records. I think I’m on a wild goose chase!!! I see in one of your posts above you mentioned you had to get a court order to get some records. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated. Many thanks
