hiya brian,
made up to hear from you, it must be over fifty years. Everytime i hear Elvis sing 'I forgot to remember to forget', I think of you in that bedsit. Over the years being an Elvis fan I thought I might hear you on a record as you had him off to a T. just a few names you never mentioned florence stock, sister to ann, joey draper, joey melvyn and Bernie smith. Bernie left greenfield with me to go to the halfway house. I was also in the Eddy's, remember brother ferguson, br.luan, and a brother we called whitechief. Do you remember the whalebone? I remember when you came to greenfield you where head and shoulders bigger than all of us, hey brian no nun was going to put you over the bed. we new each other for a few months and became very good friends i also knew john kearns, we new each other about two years, we were like glue from the first to the last day. leaving the home was heaven, leaving my friends to this day has been hell. Our experiences were obviously very different as unfortunately, my memories are not quite as fond of the place as yours. However, I am pleased for you and the others that things seemed to improve. For me though, I can still remember the beatings as if it were yesterday.
Are you still in touch with any of the others?

Nick.
