Sorry to hear about your Dad Tim. Knew him from his time In L.20 when I was on the haulage, then he was the face deputy in the six feet when I did my face training. The last time I saw him he was driving one of the barges at Wigan Pier, he let one of my lads steer the barge while we had a chat, must be 20 years ago. I remember somebody telling me that he held some kind of fitness record on the mines rescue team. R.I.P. Tommy.
